TANZANIA 2026

Following on from the success of the Peak Motorcycles tours to Colombia we will be running a recce trip for a new tour to Tanzania in 2026. This one will start and end in Arusha, near Mount Kilimanjaro. This is the dry season and is another great opportunity to escape the dark, cold and wet back home and ride motorcycles through some incredible landscapes in the sunshine!
The recce tour is planned for the 17-25 January 2026
This is a fly-ride motorcycle trips. This means you fly in and out of Arusha, Tanzania, and the itinerary is as follows:
Saturday Late night arrival into Arusha and check in to the hotel (The KLM flight arrives around 10pm and the Air France before midnight). It is a 45 minute bus transfer to the hotel.
Sunday Due to the late arrival the prior evening, this is a travel recovery day when you can relax at pool and visit the town of Arusha to gather any provisions if needed. If you're ready for riding, it's possible to do a short test ride to Kilala or Mungu Crater or just around the lodge. In the evening we will have a team dinner and tour briefing.

The tour begins with an early morning departure and we have a stop at Chemka hot springs to swim in a natural spring surrounded by lush greenery
We then ride on to Lake Chala, a crater lake straddling the Kenya-Tanzania border and in the afternoon you can relax by the lake and even swim.
